Description:
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and
problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems
- Oversees the analysis, design, development,
and deployment of IT solutions and ensure their compliance with
corporate project and development standards
- Oversees and manages problem analysis and
resolution, application performance monitoring and tuning, software
patching and system testing
- Manages interfaces to and from the ERP
platform supporting business intelligence and business process
integration requirements.
- Manages ERP systems administration and
development teams of internal technical resources and external
consultants to support both day-to-day operations and new solution
implementations.
- Manages network server maintenance,
troubleshoots and resolves performance issues, and ensures system
modifications and changes are compliant with established standards
provided by global IT headquarters.
- Ensures system administration policies are
compliant Internal Audit and other governance principles.
- Coordinate application training &
customization and provide support to end users
- Coordinate projects, Macola ES & custom
application support with outsourced consultants
- Manage application security to provide
uniform access throughout the organization.
- Work with managers to determine end user
security rights based on requirements and responsibilities.
- Configure workflow and reporting applications
to improve process efficiencies.
- Work with managers to define, document, and
improve organizational workflow and reporting needs.
- Configure and customize software event
management solution using SQL statements and built in tools to provide
end user notifications and data updates
- Provide technical support for back office and
business process applications
- Document and report all support incidents to
management to pin point problems
- Manage support escalations to 3rd party
providers to insure proper resolution.
- Manage software updates and patches to
maintain system health, and coordinate updates to minimize system
downtime
- Manage system performance and requirements to
insure network prioritization and load balancing
- Thorough understanding of EDI practices
including Edifact and ANSI X.12 Standards
- Understanding of the functional roles of the
810, 830, 850, 824, 997 documents
Required Skills:
* Bachelor Degree in Information
Technology or related field with a minimum of 5 years of comparative
experience.
* 5 years Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support
* 5 years experience in enterprise networking and VPN technologies.
* 5 years MS SQL server experience (database communications, SQL
queries, and
ASP)
* 5 years ERP and Accounting Software support experience
* 3-5 years MS IIS application infrastructure experience
* Crystal Report development and distribution experience
* Basic knowledge in HTML programming and development
